Crime Report: Aug. 27 to Sept. 4

A series of commercial burglaries occurred two weeks ago in North Bethesda, where a construction company, private federal contractor and shoe store all fell victim to property thefts.

At the Forrester Construction Company, 11426 Rockville Pike overnight from the evening of Tuesday, 8/28 to the morning of Wednesday, 8/29. Unknown entry; property was taken.

At Cygnus, 5640 Nicholson Lane sometime overnight from the evening of Tuesday, 8/28 to the morning of Wednesday, 8/29. Unknown entry; property was taken.

At White Flint Shoe Repair, 11301 Rockville Pike overnight from Wednesday, 8/29 to Thursday, 8/30. Forced entry; property taken.

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 8700 block of Bradmoor Drive, Bethesda on Wednesday, 8/29 at 10:30 a.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.

Two thefts from vehicles occurred between midnight and 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, 8/30 in the Brookdale neighborhood of Bethesda. One vehicle had an unlocked door and one had forced entry. GPS units and iPods were reported missing.

An aggravated assault occurred in the 5500 block of Tuckerman Lane, Rockville on Thursday, 8/30 at approximately 6:30 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

Four thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Friday, 8/31 to Saturday 9/1 in the 4400 block of Ambler Drive, Kensington. All the vehicles were unlocked; items left inside were removed. Property taken included a set of golf clubs, a GPS unit and vehicle registrations.

An aggravated assault occurred in the 7700 block of Old Chester Road, Bethesda on Sunday 9/2 at approximately 3:00 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

Arrested: Male, age 21, from Bethesda.

commercial burglary occurred at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, 6410 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda on Tuesday, 9/4 between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

Suspect: B/M, 5’7″

An aggravated assault occurred in the 11500 block of Rockville Pike, Rockville on Wednesday, 9/5 at 2:00 a.m.
