Crime Report: Sept. 3 to Sept. 11
The man who Police say admitted to jumping over a counter at the Montgomery Mall food court and stealing cash from a vendor apparently wasn’t the only burglar to hit the mall earlier this month:
Overnight from Wednesday, 9/5 to Thursday, 9/6, three kiosks (Gold Rush, Key Stop, and Splat Balls) were entered by force. Property taken.
The man charged with the food court burglary was also charged with cutting a hole in the security gate at Brow Art 23 and taking cash from the register.

A residential burglary occurred in the 6600 block of Glenbrook Road, Chevy Chase sometime overnight from Tuesday, 9/4 to Wednesday, 9/5. Unforced entry; property taken.
A theft from a construction site occurred in the 7100 block of Clarendon Road, Bethesda sometime between Tuesday, 9/4 and Friday, 9/7. Property was removed.
A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 4900 block of Allen Road, Bethesda on Wednesday, 9/5 at 2:20 p.m. Forced entry; a purse, laptop, and cell phone were taken.
A robbery occurred at Beech Tree road and Burning Tree Road, Bethesda on Friday, 9/7 between 9:15 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. The suspects threatened the victims with a weapon and property was taken.
Suspects: four males
A robbery/assault occurred at Derbyshire Lane and Surreywood Lane, North Bethesda on Saturday, 9/8 at 11:00 p.m. The suspects assaulted the vicim, then removed property.
Suspect: W/M, 6’2″, 240 lbs.; W/M, 16-19, 5’10″, 200 lbs.
An aggravated assault occurred in the 6500 block of Old Farm Road, Rockville on Monday, 9/10 at 9:20 p.m. The suspect is known to the victim.
Arrested: Male, age 30, from Rockville
