BREAKING: Reported Robbery At Woodmont Triangle Bank

Norfolk Avenue bank robberyPolice are looking for a suspect in a reported bank robbery Thursday afternoon at the M&T Bank at 7920 Norfolk Ave. in the Woodmont Triangle.

The call for the robbery came in from the bank at about 4:35 p.m. According to scanner traffic, a black man with a gray hat entered the bank, gave a teller a note implying a weapon and obtained cash in an envelope.

Police have established a perimeter around Woodmont Triangle and are searching for the suspect, who is reported to be 30-40 years old, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-7 and have stubble-like facial hair. He was last seen traveling on Cordell Avenue, away from Norfolk Avenue.

A red dye pack obtained with the money exploded after the robbery, according to a police lookout for the subject.
