According to MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer, a vehicle is trapped in water on Bradley Boulevard and Woodhaven Drive, one of a handful of car in water calls the department is responding to on Wednesday. There’s also an apparent vehicle in water on Bradley Boulevard at Fallen Oak Drive.

This vehicle you see above got trapped by high standing water on Democracy Boulevard near Fernwood Road at around 12:45 p.m.

It’s a good example of why to avoid the flooding happening on a number of area roads.

MCFRS units responded to the scene and reported no one is in the vehicle.

Traffic continued to pass the area in the far left lane at the time of the incident. Much of the road has been able to drain since.

Just one thought – Let those who insist on driving in standing or moving water pay or reimburse rescue for the expense of their foolhardiness.
